Transfer of Credit

Students with previous experience in any of the subject areas included in their program of enrollment may “exempt” courses in order to satisfy program requirements or to receive advanced standing in their program.  Equivalent transfer credit will be awarded to students who can demonstrate course proficiencies through independent certification, school transcript or earning a passing score on the final examination for the course.  Fees may be assessed for the administration of advanced placement exams.  Tuition will be credited as appropriate to reflect the courses previously completed.  In cases where tuition rates have been negotiated and discounted through group or agency contracts, full tuition credits may not be given.  Students may not transfer in more than 50% of the total number of credits in a program in order to receive a Certificate of Completion on completion of that program.
