Our training systems offer a unique integration of instructor assistance, traditional lectures, interactive multimedia, hands-on labs, assessments, certification practice tests, simulated and live software environments, and study group activities. Instructor Facilitated Classes
This is our most popular style of training. Learning by doing is the simplest way to describe Javelin’s Instructor Facilitated training method. Research has proved that adults learn best in a Hands On learning environment. Generally these classes consist of 3 parts:
- Multimedia Presentations - You log on to your workstation and begin your studies via multimedia presentations. The instructor will be by your side, guiding you through the process and answering any questions you may have. Combining the multimedia with your companion manuals will deliver most of the theory you’ll need.
- Assessment Tests – Testing is critical in understanding if you’ve retained what you were just taught. You’ll experience Pre-Tests, Post-Tests, and practice exams, which will prepare you for certification tests.
- Practical Experience – This is the most important component of the Instructor Facilitated Classes. This will ensure you’re not only prepared with theoretical knowledge but also with the ability to implement your skills in a real-world setting.
Lecture Classes
This is delivered like a traditional college course. The instructor is generally at the front of the class speaking (or leading a discussion) about the theory related to each lesson.
